Team Mystic caught the most Rock-type Pokémon at 473 million, Team Valor placed second at 413 million, and Team Instinct placed third at 287 million caught. Well done!         WHICH TEAM CAUGHT THE MOST GRASS-TYPE POKÉMON?       Congratulations to Team Mystic who led the way in catching the most Grass-type Pokémon globally at 116 million from May 5–8, 2017! In second place was Team Valor at 102 million caught, followed by Team Instinct at 72 million caught. Around the world, Trainers caught a total of 290 million Grass-type Pokémon. Great job to all of you who came out to support your team while exploring the world!         POKÉMON TRAINER SPOTLIGHT: ATMLVE   Trainer ATMLVE and his Buddy, and an AR photo he took during the trip.     We'd like to shine a spotlight on Trainer ATMLVE this month. He traveled to French Creek State Park in Pennsylvania, USA after hearing several rare Pokémon were spotted in the area. While searching for them, he discovered the Hopewell Furnace National Historic Site and decided to document his journey using the Pokémon GO AR Camera. Hopewell Furnace was founded in 1771 and is an example of a self-sustaining 19th century American community that manufactured iron (Wikipedia). Not only did Trainer ATMLVE encounter rare Pokémon, like Typhlosion and Cyndaquil, he discovered a national historic landmark while on his Pokémon GO adventure! So we were happy to see a study conducted by Dr. Emily Howell, an assistant professor at the Iowa State University School of Education, discussing "How Pokémon GO can help students build stronger communication skills." Her study found that when used in the classroom, Pokémon GO helps students build multimodal communication skills. "Pokémon GO incorporates different modes of communication gestures, visuals, and directions, which makes it a good fit for the classroom," said Dr. Howell. Plus, the more you communicate with teammates, the more fun you'll have while playing Pokémon GO.       TRAINER TIP: ACCOUNT LOGIN ISSUES       Do you ever forget your login information?
